Style to the Aisle Magazine Launches Style to the Aisle Fashion Weekend in the Nation’s Capital
The inaugural brides fashion weekend kicks off at the DC Convention Center April 30 – May 1, 2016
BALTIMORE, MD JULY 28, 2015 – Style to the Aisle Magazine is pleased to announce the launch of their inaugural event Style to the Aisle Fashion Weekend in the nation’s capital. The first of its kind weekend long bridal fashion event will take place on April 30 – May 1, 2016 at the DC Convention Center and will be open to the public.
Style to the Aisle Fashion Weekend will highlight well-known and emerging designers presenting current bridal and ready-to-wear collections. The two day event will feature a combination of runway shows, bridal fashion talks, pampering and pop-up shops. Style to the Aisle Fashion Weekend is the ultimate fashion event for any couple planning their wedding or for those with a love for bridal fashion. Between runway shows guests will have the opportunity to visit pop-up shops or sit back and relax with a glass of bubbly from a champagne bar or get a much needed beauty fix in the STAFW Beauty Lounge.
“Brides are more fashion savvy more than ever when planning for their big day and social media has played a major part in that. With designers featuring their collections online, it gives so many brides inspiration for their own bridal style. They’ve had bridal fashion week for years in New York, Paris and London exclusively for the media and buyers, but there’s been nothing for the consumer,” said Style to the Aisle Founder & Producer Michelle Davis.
The goal of Style to the Aisle Fashion Weekend is to bring the concept of fashion to the world of brides and provide the area with the excitement & unrivalled buzz of NY Bridal Fashion Week. Designers, beauty brands, models, glam squads, media, bloggers, publicists, fashion and industry professionals are invited to be involved in the success of bringing such a high fashion event to the wedding world. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Avergan Foundation, a local nonprofit organization created to promote awareness and acceptance of autism spectrum disorders and provide hope to affected families.
