We were excited to receive an invite to attend this year’s runway show for one of our faves in the bridal world.  A confection of glittering luxury comprised the Spring/Summer 2019 BERTA Collection astonishing everyone in attendance! An effortlessly chic collection drifted gracefully down the runway at the West Edge with fabrics that lead the way into a powerful abyss of jaw dropping styles. Berta Balilti’s latest collection has once again broke everything that is known to be “normalized” in the bridal industry. It featured pieces that were fresh, exciting and new yet still lending to the true essence of what BERTA is and is expected  to be. Strong, powerful, and confident is the description of Berta’s perennial muse.

Lots of sparkle, tulle, sequins and feathers were seen eloquently paired with the reoccurring theme of plunging necklines, open backs, flowing capes, and voluminous trains, yet this seasons collection added a twist that has never been seen before. To say it’s all in the details is a concurrent theme in all of Berta’s collections. Ensembles in startlingly vibrant motifs, even when they are in classic silhouettes, are sensual in their confidence. The hand beaded and attention to each detail on the gown can only be created by highly skilled and talented individuals such as Berta and her team. Every dress had its own theme and entails hours of detail oriented design and stitch work, dedication, love, and passion. It is definitely seen in the dresses which will then translates to the glow on the bride’s face. This is what it all comes down to.  Berta’s determination to translate an inspiration to the fullest resulted in a collection that is harmonious, charming, sexy, and confident.  To close out the show, the cutest squad hit the runway, they were so adorable on the runway.
