The Australian disruptors of modern bridal and creators of ‘The World’s Most Pinned Wedding Dress’ – Grace Loves Lace – has released 3 high impact gowns featuring an innovative stretch bustier that provides traditional shaping and full bust support without the restriction of traditional boning and corsetry: Poppy, Palm and Izabel.
“We combined the illusion of a fitted, boned bodice with our renowned comfort and stretch elements, et voila! It’s traditional bridal, done the GRACE way,” says founder Meg Ziems.
Their clever stretch lace paneling has resulted in arguably the most comfortable bridal corset! The stretch bodice and cups have been carefully hand-crafted using a combination of powermesh stretch lining and vertical lace paneling to create a sculpting, curved effect without restrictive boning or corsetry, while an elasticated waist seam allows the waistline to stretch over the body making it easy to slip on and off and return to its original shape – meaning no poking, pinching or pulling. They also offer an assortment of complimentary armbands to accessorize!
In a major feat of fashion engineering, the dresses are all handmade ranging from XXS to XXXL with 32 bustier size options & additional padding available for brides and their best assets. GRACE will continue to add more cup sizes to ensure a fully inclusive line – a major advancement in the bridal industry as most brands only offer four cup sizes.
The collection launched on February 20th online & in their 10 flagships worldwide, each of the pieces in the collection reflect the spirit of GRACE – championing the belief that brides of today shouldn’t have to sacrifice style for comfort, despite the fact many women associate strapless gowns with having to constantly pull them up and readjust. These gowns don’t budge!
