Maryland based Makeup Artist, Nicole Word is a freelance makeup who specializes in special event, photography, and bridal makeup artistry. Nicole is known for her ability to enhance the natural features of the face, creating a clean, glamorous, and polished finished look. Nicole graduated from the University of Baltimore and following her graduation in January 2014, she launched her own business, which she called Face Purfection. Since then, Nicole has done several weddings, bridal shows, photo shoots, film, trainings, and special occasion makeup. Nicole’s work has also been featured in magazines such as Style to the Aisle and Munaluchi Bridal to name a few. Wanting to garner further knowledge in her field, Nicole pursued a Certificate in Bridal Beauty and Business Planning which provided her with the expertise and training she needed to manage her business successfully. Nicole has also participated in Crystal Wright’s PYP summit and has studied under several seasoned makeup artists. It is her desire to create and experience for each client that is customized to meet individual needs.
