Candiace Dillard Looked Like Royalty Dripping in Swarovski Crystals on Her Wedding Day
Here comes the bride! Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard is officially married! The Real Housewives of Potomac pageant queen tied the knot with Chris Bassett while wearing the most stunning Karen Sabag ballgown on Saturday after viewers witnessed her shopping for wedding dresses on the show.
Of course it was all about Dillard’s dress — or, in this case, “DRESSES”. Both were custom designed by the New York celebrity designer, who worked closely with Dillard over an eight-month period to craft the perfect look. For the ceremony and reception, the RHOP star wore a flowing ballgown, its imprinted pearl cream silk organza draped over a fitted corset and continuing onto a skirt of 70 yards. Soft and dramatic at the same time, the best part of the gown was the two French bows on the shoulders, beaded (by hand) with 80 yards of Swarovski crystals. A clean, long cathedral veil — pinned into her soft curls — finished the look, with a blusher to the floor.
